ISA-Alliance 2026 Leadership Team

The Iranian Student Association-Alliance (ISA-Alliance) is pleased to formally announce its 2026 leadership team.

ISA-Alliance is committed to building a unified voice for Iranian students across the United States by establishing a national network of Iranian student organizations and associations. The Alliance seeks collaborations to identify shared challenges and advocate for effective solutions, while fostering opportunities for the professional and personal growth of Iranian students nationwide.

At this critical time, ISA-Alliance specifically aims to monitor policy developments affecting Iranian students, support coordinated advocacy initiatives, and ensure that student concerns are raised to universities, institutions, and policymakers. Through partnerships with other organizations, ISA-Alliance is working to establish a support platform providing resources for legal and financial matters, including fundraising and legal consultation.

ISA-Alliance was established by six Co-Founders dedicated to building the infrastructure Iranian students need across the United States: Ahmad Salehiyan (Oklahoma State University), Behnam Hassanizadeh (Oklahoma State University), Amir Kucharski (Washington University), Saeed Manouchehri (Transpire Bio), Sima Maleki (Wayne State University), and Shiva Maleki (General Motors / Optimal). The Founding Board continues to hold strategic governance authority over the organization.

The 2026 Executive Cabinet—elected by ISA-Alliance member associations—has now been seated. Saeid Alimoradi serves as President of Student Affairs, Mona Rahimi as President of Communications, and Armita Kazeminajafabadi as President of Treasury & Fundraising. The Cabinet will work alongside the Founding Board to lead the alliance's operations, communications, and fundraising initiatives during the 2026 term.
